It’s just kind of a lazy Sunday. All that’s really happened is that I got a new Nintendo DS game. It’s Imagine Babysitter.

I don’t know about all of you, but tomorrow is my first day back at school. Which means today is The Last Day Of Summer. Jessie came over today. We didn’t really do anything, just played Wii, watched TV and drew pictures. And this morning, me, her, and Elizabeth had a three-way phone call for longer than an hour. This has been a great summer, and I hope next summer is just as good.

Yes, last night my mom made reservations for our motel room, because at the end of July, we are packing up and headed out to Mt. Olympus! We usually go to Noah’s Ark, and that’s where we’ve gone for the last three years, but this year, we’re going some place different. And you know what’s weird? They were supposed to give us a ticket for every registered guest, but they gave us tickets for each night, for the amount of people the room can occupy, which is six. So, they gave us twelve tickets. Anyway, my mom said I invite two friends to come along. So when my cousin Dylan called, I invited him, and he said he’ll come, my mom will probably have to talk to his parents. I am also going to invite one of my other best friends (I have a lot of best friends) Jessie.

Okay, supper just ended, and some how the speed of sound came up. Why am I stuck looking up the speed of sound? (Oh, F.Y.I, the speed of sound in dry air at 20° Celcius is 343 meters per second.)

Today is the first day of summer vacation for me. I like summer, but I like school, too. All my friends are together in one place for the whole day. And, one of my best friends in the whole world, Madi, is leaving for Texas today. And she’s going to be there for the whole summer. What am I supposed to do without my best friends. Well, I have other best friends, one of which, Jessie, lives about three blocks away from me, so I just walk to her house. She has a pool, it’s so awesome!
